More than 40 recent University of Kentucky graduates grabbed their paddles for a friendly competition during the UK Alumni Association Recent Grad Pickleball Event on July 16.
Hosted at PKL Lex in Lexington, the event brought alumni together for an evening of pickleball, food, drinks and giveaways. Experienced players tested their skills on the court, while first-timers learned the game and joined in the fun.
The event was part of the UK Alumni Association’s continued effort to create welcoming, low-pressure opportunities for recent graduates to connect with one another and stay engaged with Big Blue Nation. Whether attendees arrived ready to compete or simply wanted to meet new people, the evening offered plenty of opportunities to make connections and enjoy time with fellow Wildcats.
Thank you to everyone who grabbed a paddle and joined us. With such a great turnout—and no shortage of competitive spirit—we have just one question: Who’s ready for a rematch?
