GALLERY: Board of Directors Summer Workshop

We were so thankful to see everyone IN-PERSON this past weekend at our Board of Directors Summer Workshop.

Our Board was treated to guest speakers Jack “Goose” Givens and UK Athletics Director Mitch Barnhart and a Call to the Post from UK doctoral student Clint Linkmeyer to kick off the workshop on Thursday.

We also honored our 2020 and 2021 Distinguished Service Award and Joseph T. Burch Young Alumni Award winners and thanked our outgoing board members for their service. We were also able to surprise our executive director Jill Smith with a celebration on Thursday evening.

Mostly, it was just exciting to see everyone again after more than a year of virtual meetings and events, and the smiles on everyone’s faces as they could once again gather together.
