We want to thank everyone who came out to our two Big Blue Santa events in Lexington and Louisville.
The King Alumni House played host to the annual event on Saturday, Dec. 14. For the second-consecutive year, Bachman Chevrolet in Louisville hosted Big Blue Santa on Monday, Dec. 16.
Big Blue Santa is one of our Legacy Family Events, along with the Legacy Pumpkin Festival, that are part of our Legacy Initiative program.
The Legacy Initiative is an exclusive Life Member and Active Member benefit of the University of Kentucky Alumni Association, designed for the children of UK graduates. Not only does the Legacy Initiative provide a great benefit to both UK graduates and their children, but it also excites Legacy children about their future at UK. Benefits of a UK Legacy include an annual birthday card, milestone birthday gifts and invitations to exclusive Legacy Family events. Once a UK student, Legacy Students are eligible for the Legacy Tuition Program and the UK Alumni Association Scholars program.
A UK Legacy is any child whose mother, father or step-parent has earned a baccalaureate, graduate, doctorate or professional degree from the University of Kentucky and whose parent or step-parent is a Life Member or Active Member of the University of Kentucky Alumni Association.
There are three components of the Legacy Initiative program: Future Wildcats, Legacy Students, and Legacy Family Events. Learn more about the Legacy Initiative at https://www.ukalumni.net/legacy.
