The University of Kentucky Alumni Association and the Greater Chicago UK Alumni Club invite alumni, fans and friends to gather in Wrigleyville before Kentucky Volleyball makes history at Wrigley Field.
The free Kentucky Block Party in Wrigleyville begins at 4 p.m. CT on Sunday, Sept. 6, at Kincade’s Wrigley, 3660 N. Clark St. in Chicago. Free swag will be available while supplies last. Kincade’s full food menu and game-day drink specials will be available for purchase. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, so guests are encouraged to arrive early.
The celebration will lead into Kentucky’s matchup against Penn State as part of the inaugural Allstate Big Ten/SEC Volleyball Challenge. The match begins at 6 p.m. CT at Wrigley Field and will be televised nationally on FOX. It will be among the first volleyball matches ever played at the historic ballpark.
The block party is free and open to all UK alumni, fans and friends. Registration for the party is encouraged. Tickets to the volleyball doubleheader must be purchased separately through the Chicago Cubs.
