The UK Alumni Association recently recognized 293 students who will receive scholarships totaling $386,750 in the 2025-2026 academic year during its annual Scholarship Dinner at the Gatton Student Center. These scholarships were made possible through the generosity of the UK Alumni Association, local alumni clubs, individual alumni donors, and the collegiate plate alumni fund.
Donors were able to hear firsthand how their support is impacting students, while recipients had the chance to personally express their gratitude. Attendees heard remarks from UK Alumni Association President Tom Mathews, UK Vice Provost Jana Jasinski, 2025 Joseph T. Burch Young Alumni Service Award Winner Zeb Vance and UK Alumni Ambassadors President Morgan David.
A highlight of the evening was a video presentation in which several students expressed their gratitude to donors for their support through scholarships.
