The University of Kentucky has taken a number of substantive steps to demonstrate its commitment toward becoming a more diverse, equitable and inclusive campus community by investing in research around issues of racial disparities and inequities, partnering with national organizations to examine and address issues of educational access, and re-aligning the institution’s senior administration to better reflect a diverse campus.
On September 16, 2020, the UK Alumni Association and the Office for Institutional Diversity (OID) hosted a panel discussion on the importance of diversity initiatives at UK and how they can best support students now and in the future.
