Alumni Career Services Hosting Online Career Events to All Alumni

Employment uncertainty has been an unfortunate side effect of the COVID-19 global health crisis. During this challenging time the UK Alumni Association is opening a number of Alumni Career Services resources to all alumni (12+  credit hours earned). Here are some tools and opportunities to be proactive in your career management and stay relevant and competitive in your career field.

April 3 – Kentucky Unemployment Basics Webinar, 11 a.m. – Noon EDT
Join the UK Alumni Association’s Alumni Career Services team for a webinar about unemployment insurance basics for those impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The webinar will be presented by representatives from the Kentucky Career Center and the Kentucky Office of Unemployment Insurance. April 7 – Alumni Career Services Digital Drop-In Hours, Noon – 2 p.m. EDT
Join us for these first come, first served sessions limited to five individuals per hour. Certified career counselors will be on Zoom with registered attendees to work on resumes, cover letters, interview preparations and other career related topics. LINK: www.ukalumni.net/acsdropin.
