Roughly 50 graduating University of Kentucky seniors were honored for their years of student service, leadership and impact on campus to the university during the Senior Toast event on Wednesday, April 18, at the Club at UK’s Spindletop Hall.
Honored students were nominated by administrators and campus partners throughout the university. Speakers included UK Alumni Association President Susan Mustian, alumni board and UK Board of Trustees member Cammie DeShields Grant and Gereald Marvel, general manager of The Club at Spindletop Hall and Hilary J. Boone Center.
During the evening’s speeches, each student was encouraged to stay connected and involved with their alma mater, the same way they have made such lasting impacts during their time on campus. Every honoree also was given a gift on behalf on the UK Alumni Association. The evening was most definitely a memorable celebration.
Student also took time to give a giant C-A-T-S Cats! Cats! Cats! See that cheer at https://youtu.be/s9T2DvQ10vo.
