Atlanta becomes Catlanta as the Wildcats play in their 26th Sweet Sixteen this week in their quest for the Final Four. Join the UK Alumni Association for a pregame pep rally from 5-7 p.m. EDT Thursday, March 22, at the Social Table, located inside the Georgia World Congress Center, Building B, 285 Andrew Young International Blvd. NW. Kentucky plays Kansas State at approximately 9:40 p.m. EDT at Philips Arena, 1 Philips Dr.
UK T-shirts, courtesy of UK HealthCare, and spirit items will be available from 5-7 p.m. EDT while supplies last. There is no cost to attend the event. Attendees may purchase food and drinks at the event. The UK Band and Cheerleaders are scheduled to conduct a pep rally at the venue at approximately 6:30 p.m. EDT. The Georgia World Congress Center is adjacent to Philips Arena.
Kentucky basketball great Jack “Goose” Givens will also be on hand from 5-7 p.m. EDT Thursday signing copies of the book, “Forty Minutes to Glory: Inside the Kentucky Wildcats’ 1978 Championship Season,” an inside account of the team that gave UK its fifth national title.

UK basketball fans who cannot obtain tickets through the university to the Sweet Sixteen in Atlanta can check for tickets through the Official NCAA Ticket Exchange. The UK Alumni Association has partnered with PrimeSport, which operates the Official NCAA Ticket Exchange, and all tickets are 100 percent guaranteed.
