UK Alumni Events Planned for Champions Classic in New York City

University of Kentucky alumni and friends in New York City for the 2025 State Farm Champions Classic are invited to join two special events hosted by the UK Alumni Association and the New York City UK Alumni Club. 

The first event, the Big Blue NYC Reception, will take place on Monday, Nov. 17, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. EST at Avenida NYC, located at 1 Pennsylvania Plaza, New York, NY 10119. Whether you’re visiting for the Champions Classic or part of the local Big Blue community, all Wildcats are welcome to attend. Admission is free, but registration is encouraged. Register here.

A Pregame Party will be held Tuesday, Nov. 18, from 3 to 5:30 p.m. EST at Jack Demsey’s, located at 36 W. 33rd St., New York, NY 10001. Just steps from Madison Square Garden, this free event will feature special giveaways while supplies last and raffle items benefiting the New York City UK Alumni Club Scholarship Fund. Attendees are encouraged to wear their best blue and white.

The State Farm Champions Classic doubleheader will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET, with Michigan State taking on Kentucky, followed by the Kansas-Duke matchup at 9 p.m. ET.
