March Madness Comes to Lexington for Women’s NCAA Tournament 

March Madness is coming to Lexington! The UK women’s basketball team is set to begin its NCAA Tournament run here in Lexington, giving Big Blue Nation the perfect opportunity to cheer them on at home. To celebrate, the UK Alumni Association will host a pregame gathering on Friday, March 21, at 10:30 a.m. EDT at Wildcat Alumni Plaza, located across from Historic Memorial Coliseum on Avenue of Champions. The event is free and open to the public. UK swag will be available while supplies last. 

Kentucky, the No. 4 seed in the Spokane Region, will face No. 13 seed Liberty on Friday, March 21, at noon EDT at Historic Memorial Coliseum, located at 201 Avenue of Champions in Lexington.  

Tickets for the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament in Lexington may be purchased through UK Athletics at am.ticketmaster.com/uky/buy, in person at the Joe Craft Center Ticket Office or by calling the UK Ticket Office at (800) 928-2287. 

Should Kentucky advance to the second round, Wildcat Alumni Plaza will once again serve as the UK Alumni Association’s pregame location. Event details will be posted on the UK Alumni Association’s March Madness webpage as they are confirmed.
