The UK Alumni Association is welcoming the Class of 1973 back to campus for their 50th class reunion during Homecoming weekend, October 12-15.
Members of the Class of 1973 will be inducted into the Golden Wildcat Society and participate in an array of activities that encourage reminiscing with classmates and cheering on the Wildcats’ basketball and football teams.

Thursday, Oct. 12
Golden Wildcat Reunion Registration
Noon – 5 p.m.
The Campbell House Lexington | 1375 S. Broadway
Welcome to Lexington! Attendees are asked to stop by the Campbell House to pick up all event tickets, nametags and itinerary.
Classes Without Quizzes
2 – 3 p.m.
Departs from and returns to the Campbell House
Take a step back in time to your college days with fellow UK alumni and friends by joining us for a classroom-style lecture. Don’t worry – there won’t be a quiz at the end!
Golden Wildcat Society Induction Dinner
6 – 9 p.m.
Gatton Student Center | Harris Ballroom | 160 Avenue of Champions
Enjoy a delicious dinner and recognition at one of the most iconic locations on campus. Members of the Class of 1973 will be inducted into the Golden Wildcat Society, receive lapel pins and enjoy reminiscing with fellow Golden Wildcats.
Friday, Oct. 13
Campus Bus Tour
9 – 11 a.m.
Tour departs and returns to the Campbell House
Come tour the brand-new Alumni Commons, the newly renovated thoroughfare on Rose Street featuring outdoor classrooms and relaxing spaces where the campus community can meet. The tour also includes visits to the W.T. Young Library, Gatton Student Center, Wildcat Alumni Plaza and many other buildings across campus.
Keeneland Racing and Lunch
Noon – 5 p.m.
Keeneland Race Course | Phoenix Room | 4201 Versailles Road
Catch all the racing action while enjoying a buffet at one of Keeneland’s best locations, reserved for UK alumni. A limited number of seats are available.
Lyman T. Johnson Constituency Group Awards Luncheon

Join the Lyman T. Johnson African American Constituency Group and the Office of Institutional Diversity for a wonderful afternoon celebrating the 2023 Lyman T. Johnson Torch of Excellence and Torch Bearer award recipients.

Golden Wildcat Farewell Breakfast

Say goodbye to fellow alumni and friends during breakfast at the Campbell House and join us for one final event to wrap up the 2023 Homecoming festivities. The event is free to attend and is Dutch treat. Food and drinks are available for purchase on site.
