More than 1,200 students joined the UK Alumni Association to kickoff the 2023-2024 school year on Friday, August 18, for the Wildcat Welcome Festival. The festival was held at Alumni Commons in the center of UK’s campus.
The festival included food, music, games, and freebies from partners like Raising Canes, the Student Alumni Association (SAA), UK HealthCare and the K Week staff. Wildcat spent some time at the festival as well, enjoying a game of cornhole and posing for lots of pictures.
Students said they enjoyed the beautiful weather and the many places to gather with friends.
