UK students are invited to kick off the 2023-2024 school year with the UK Alumni Association at the Wildcat Welcome Festival Friday, Aug. 18, from 6 – 10 p.m. in the newly opened Alumni Commons. Alumni Commons is the primary pedestrian pathway in the center of campus on Rose Street from Columbia Avenue to Huguelet Drive.
The festival includes free food, live music, games and “back to school” photos. At 8 p.m. the K Week team will give students the chance to meet fellow Wildcats during a fun networking opportunity. Be sure to bring your WildCard student ID and BBNvolved Event Pass to check in.
Students who are active members of the Student Alumni Association (SAA) will receive a free T-shirt. SAA members are students who provide an annual gift of $25 or more to any UK fund. Students can learn more about being an active member of SAA by clicking here.
